Fayence is known throughout Europe (and perhaps further) as a sailplane center.
Located about 25 km west of Grasse (or 35 km from Cannes), Fayence is easy to get to. The surrounding countryside includes open fields good for afternoon thermals and plenty of hills.

on our Links-Sports page you'll also find a Web page for the Aérodrome de Chàteau-Arnoux-Saint Auban, the French Gliding Federation (FFVV) and other related sites.
