Caves Grottos (Avens - Grottes)

The caves listed here are open to the public for guided visits. For a list of caves open only to certified members of Speleological Clubs, refer to Spelunking.

Grottes de Thouzon

Near the village of Le Thor, in the Vaucluse. A feature of the caves are beautiful golden fistulous stalactites.

La Grotte de Baume Obscure

This cave is only x 3 km from St. Vallier-de-Thiey, 12 km from Grasse.

Les Grottes de Saint Cézaire

This cave is outside the village of St. Cézaire-sur-Siagne, about 8 km south of the Grotte de Baume Obscure and 15 km west of Grasse.

La Grotte des Audides

This cave is between St. Vallier-de-Thiey (4 km) and Cabris (4 km) on the D4 road, about 10 km from Grasse.

Les Grottes de Villecroze

Villecroze is 15 km west of Draguignan on the D557, or 40 km south of Moustiers-Ste-Marie (D957) and 8 km southeast of Aups on the D557.
