There are 28 UNESCO World Heritage sites in France, including cathedrals, canals, towns, palaces and river valleys. Our Beyond Itineraries will show you how you can visit a few of these outstanding sites in a single trip. Eventually, you may be able to travel each of the Beyond France World-Heritage itineraries to see them all, and discover most of the most outstanding areas of the country.
A 4-day itinerary, starting in Chartre (a World Heritage site), visiting some of the most famous Loire-Valley chateaux (a World Heritage site), and some of our own favorites, and ending in Bourges (a World Heritage site).
